How the model compares
Employer of record
An employer of record, or EOR, employs someone you have already found. It handles their contract, payroll and local compliance. Opus is a nearshore recruiting and placement partner. We also find, vet and place your hire, with employment support under one flat monthly rate.
Contingency recruiter
A contingency recruiter charges a one-time fee for a successful hire. That fee does not cover ongoing employment. With Opus, the monthly rate covers the hire's pay and employment support as well as placement.
